Found in the quiet, residential side of Main street in Cubao, Tago Jazz Cafe is making waves. Though small (people say intimate), this homey dive is recommended for its nightly live jazz performances and good food. Bona fide Jazz maestros (Noli Aurillo, Pete Canzon) regularly match up against young hot talents (Paolo Blaquera Trio, Swingster Syndicate) during Tago’s regular Jazz gigs. After the usual sets, an open jam usually ensues late in the evening. However, good music sounds even better with great food and Tago Jazz Cafe offers a lot of great options. Menu items include a wide array of dishes. Staples like burgers and pizza are served with choice selections from Filipino, American, Asian, Middle Eastern and Mediterranean cuisine.
