Actor Paul Walker Dies in Car Crash En Route to Yolanda Charity Event
Actor Paul Walker died this Saturday afternoon (a few hours ago in local time) in a car crash in Santa Clarita, Southern California. The actor, best known for his recurring role in the Fast and the Furious movies, was on his way to a benefit car show for the victims of Typhoon Yolanda in the Philippines when we met his untimely end.
Both Walker and another individual were both killed in the crash as they lost control of the Porsche they were driving and crashed into a tree or a post TMZ reports. Details are still scarce as to who was driving or what exactly happened to cause the crash. After the vehicle crashed, it caught on fire as law enforcement officers and the L.A. coroner were on their way to the scene of the accident.
Sadly, Walker’s rep has already confirmed that the actor was indeed in Santa Clarita. Paul Walker was 40 years old when he died. According to Walker’s rep; “It is with a truly heavy heart that we must confirm that Paul Walker passed away today in a tragic car accident while attending a charity event for his organization Reach Out Worldwide. He was a passenger in a friend’s car, in which both lost their lives. We appreciate your patience as we too are stunned and saddened beyond belief by this news. Thank you for keeping his family and friends in your prayers during this very difficult time.
