Beware The Batman Happy Meal Review
The local McDonalds is currently bundling Beware the Batman Happy Meal toys and I decided to get one before it completely runs out.
Since my little nephew wanted to tag along, we decided to buy separate figs. Truth be told, that little kid is my litmus test because he’s got this knack for toys which are actually good and he’ll show disinterest with sucky toys. Good thing he liked Batman.
So for starters, we got the motorcycling Batman.
The plastic used is heavy duty. It’s definitely designed for those kids who want to smash their vehicles or those who turn normal cycles into the ones that only Evel Knievel can manage on a good day.
Paint job on Batman’s OK for a happy meal toy. That distinct frown and gloom is there which tells us a lot about the TV show (which replaced Young Justice mind you).
The toy works, and it just doesnt work, it fricking stands all the extensive play time that kids will do to it.
Now let’s check out the Batman figure
OK, truth be told I’m not a big fan of the design for BEWARE THE BATMAN. That Batman’s skinny and doesn’t look menacing. Still i hear there’s some gold found within that cartoon series. As for the Happy Meal figure, it looks great and it’s got this silly yet fun action.
Mine would probably be a rare case, but the paint job here in the figure I got was kinda sucky.
I’ve inspected others ever since I bought the figure and they look great though.
Cool job on the cape and the entire kicking action was a welcome addition.
Verdict: Go get it. The Beware the Batman happy meal toy set is a nice addition to your Batman collection and the figure makes for a great display in the office.
